who thinks we'll get any? what week was the "ice storm" in 94?

Dead on...........as usual 
The mini-ice storm (no ice on ground) was Feb. 10, 1994.
Well it may have not been on the ground, I can't recall as I was not driving yet. In fact, that was the week of the 16th birthday and I had friends over. I do remember it was terribly bad on powerlines and trees. And we were without power, at my parents home, for about two weeks. We luckily had a backup gas heat system so part of the house remainded warm. My grandparents power was restored after about 5 to 6 days, so we commuted back and forth to their residence to take showers.
And 9 months later ECM was overrun in the paternity ward.
Remember it well. Of course, celebrating a birthday ever year since then helps me to remember.
Don't forget the winter storm in Jan 1985.
And I remembered the day that the Grant Hotel burned in downtown Sheffield, as it was April 1st and snowed. I don't remember what year that was.
here's the day... and they're still calling for snow tonight... i hope it doesn't get bad!
i'm about to find a warmer location for a few days!

i'm not a big fan of the cold. i never complain about the heat of summer. this cold weather sucks the life out of you.

I agree crash. It does suck the life out of you. I don't think I'll complain at all this year about the humidity. BrIng it on!

I have absolutely no worries about the snow. I have a full loaf of bread and over a gallon of milk on hand. No need to beeline for the store.
