The long range deep freeze (due to global warning) forecast includes a 80% chance of snow next Friday and a 30% chance a week from Sunday. Temperatures will be in the teens at night and the daily highs will be in the 30's. Start loading up on bread and milk, and remember G.W. Bush Jr. controls the weather. I think he has purchased the Utility Departments now. Get ready for another doubled or tripled utility bill.

You really need to study and understand the difference between global warming and how that is affected by "climate change". Then come back and post.

Bob, it was called "global warming" until even they couldn't hide from the fact that there was no consistent global warming. THey then decided to start calling it "climate change". In my book, a clear statement that they were clueless about what they were screaming about.

climate change is the buzzword that has replaced the term global warming.

this is cyclical...the melting and re-freezing of the ice caps. the ozone hole opens and closes on it's own. The whole system is set up to regulate itself.

On television news yesterday they reported that the ozone layer is "healing itself" but it appears that closing that ozone hole may actually contribute to global warming...THEY were serious, I laughed until I cried..these people are groping and couldn't find the truth with both hands.

Back to the topic......will we get snow?
I sure hope so. Wink

It was funny - I was comparing all the weather forecasts this morning.

WHNT 19 predicts 100% chance
WAFF 48 predicts 20% chance
WAAY 31 predicts 50% chance

I predict a 15% chance of sleet and frozen precipitation for the Shoals.
