Topic title corrected, unnecessarily sarcastic and probably offensive joke removed.
I do like their burgers, but I received really horrible service at a Steak 'n Shake once and haven't been back to one since. To be fair, it was completely full and they didn't seem to have enough staff to deal with that, but on the other hand, when it's an Iron Bowl Saturday and you're on the main route between Auburn and Tuscaloosa, you really should be prepared to handle a full restaurant.
Ateat one in Chattanooga at Hamilton Place. Meat tasted old and not up to what I expected. I will not go back there.
JMO, but I think Florence has plenty of fatty disgusting places that serve fried junk food. I don't see how Steak 'n Shake would revolutionize the Flotown restaurant scene.

This is exactly my thought about another fattening franchise!

Steak and Shake do have excellent burgers, baked beans and shakes. There's one in Huntsville, by Madison Plaza mall.
I prefer the Snake and Ale in Hong Kong, myself. The Cobra kabob is delicious and fresh -- skinned and cooked in front of you. The venom martinis have a real kick!
But not everyone wants one to "revolutionize the shoals restaurant scene" ...I mean, that's a loaded statement in itself.
But it's a 24 hour place to come and get food that's not waffle house. I would agree that it would be a good addition also.
