Republicans might as well give it up if they give in and allow an Obama nominated nominee to pass on to the Supreme Court.  Never mind that there is countless examples of  leading Democrats, Biden included, who was openly for doing just that very thing to a Republican President only now to say it was all hypothetical or that it was different circumstances.

It never ceases to amaze me, not in a good way, how Republicans seem to feel that they have to always be the ones who cross the isle and who give in on their convictions.  You can be sure that the Republicans will get zero votes by wimping out and those elusive independent votes they have been told they would get always go for Democrats all the while those same Republicans continue to be the laughing stock in Washington.

This time around Republicans should be deaf when it comes to the cries of the Media and Democrats who are surely going to try and shame them.

What's the ultimate hypocrisy ....?  Harry Reid claiming that the Republicans will shame the honor of the Senate by blocking or not considering Obama's supreme Court Nominee.  Harry Reid who openly and proudly admitted lying about Romney's taxes not being submitted for 10 years all the while knowing it was a lie.  All the while knowing that no secret person told him but rather he admitted to lying at the podium of the Senate about Romney for Political advantage.  This man is the ultimate shame of the Senate.   It's really just dessert if you think of it.   Obama and the liberal policies of the Democrats insured that the Republicans gained control of both the Senate and House and now that is what is the main thing standing in their way.

Remember Harry Reid and the Democrats changing the rules of the Senate in order to give them a total advantage and filibuster protection against the Republicans even though they didn't have the numbers.  Republicans haven't even done that yet but it would serve the Democrats right if they did especially during this Supreme Court vacancy.

Remember the Democrats ramming through Democratic Healthcare (aka. Obamacare) before the Republicans could seat their newly elected Senator from Massachusetts that would have given the Republicans the ability to filibuster the Healthcare bill.   NOW we hear even the Democratic candidates talking about the extremely high deductibles and cost as a problem as if it was the Republicans who caused it.  Never owning the bill that they totally had control over and wrote 100% of.

It's time for Republicans to grow a set, a big set and tell the Nation's media and the Democrats to pound salt and wait for the next President to make the nomination.    Given Obama's and the Democrat's record there is very likely to be a Republican sweep of the House, Senate, and Executive office.  No it's not time to negotiate or compromise but rather it's time to LEAD!

For what it's worth I was a totally independent voter but given the Democrats performance during and through Democratic Healthcare (aka .. Obamacare) I have become Anyone But Democrat.  I believe the Democratic party should pay for their anti-constitutional performance and errors made during their time that they had supreme control.

At best, this year, SCOTUS will hear from four to five cases. If, they tie on any, that case will be heard again when Scalia's vacancy is filled.  The Republic will survive and the heavens will not fall. At worst, the Democrats will rant and rave.  Their silly sycophant pundits might foul themselves.  Read the silly opinion piece in today's paper.  The writer believes the end of the US will come if the Republicans do not bend to the hypocritical Democrats' will .

I swear the lefties in the editorial page have the souls of small frightened children.
