LOL you people who share Snopes links sure are dumb - they call everything a hoax for ad revenue - countless times they have been found to be the worst source of info on the net - They dismiss things as "false" because it originated from a site that does 50/50 real/satire...they dont take into consideration the 50% real....therefor deceiving simpletons

This story and the bible story are 100% true - and Snopes will be proven wrong for the millionth time - just watch

Wozzy looks like your sites must have gotten their information from the Originator of the Rumor. (National Report.net) Your sites are jockeying for clicks for those  advertisement Dollars, as well.

Even a cursory search of their website reveals that they still sell the Bible and there have been no press statements from Target announcing that anything in this regard is going to change.

Have Target really discontinued sales of the Holy Bible?

FALSE.

Claims that popular retailer Target have announced that they will be discontinuing sales of the Holy Bible are spreading online. The rumours seem to have originated from an article on the website NationalReport.net that claims the announcement came as a result from “protests from religious extremists” about their transgender bathroom policies.

Making derogatory comments about your fellow forum members doesn't usually advance your credibility but usually ends up reflecting negatively upon your own self.

Now referring to your statement about the story being 100% true, that Target is discontinuing selling the Holy Bible as some retaliation against Christians for their petition against the transgender bathroom issue,  a search on Target's website for "Holy Bible"  yields 301 results for "online" purchases but the source is from Target.  There is no indication that what you say is valid and true.  The original statement or source seems dubious and suspect and there is no public statement by Target, on their website, which verifies what was alleged.

Regarding Snopes.com being unreliable it seems there is great disagreement with your position and no real verification regarding your claims about how false and deceptive they are.

But to give you a chance to prove your point and ad credibility to your statement  and being so credible yourself, regarding snopes.com I'd be very interested in your cited proof for the Countless number of times Snopes.com was wrong or purposely deceptive  You made the statement please provide the evidence in reliable links demonstrating Snopes deliberate deception.  I'm not asking for references for the "millionth times" or even countless but five to ten confirmed instances of what you allege will be sufficient to prove your point.

So since so many are "dumb" as you say (and judge) for sharing snopes information, regarding stories that are suspect about being false, we await your confirming evidence exposing snopes.com's errors and purposeful lies and deceptions revealing why it's so smart to ignore anything that snopes.com publishes.

Members of the forum are still waiting on you to reply to this post with it's questions.  Don't want to beat a dead horse, so to say, but you did make various accusations and statements that you really need to defend or clarify.

You have made certain statements about certain forum members being "dumb" for posting information from Snopes.com and also made statements about Snopes itself so you have been ask for credible evidence/proof to add credibility to your claims and we are waiting for your response.

I for one, if Snopes.com is not credible ,want to know as for now, until I get conflicting information that is valid proving otherwise, consider them the standard for proving or disproving many rumors that flourish across the internet.  I think if you are so certain they are bogus that you have credible sources and information to prove that or that you base your own opinions on.
