This was written a couple of years ago, but the same goes for the 18-year time frame.
There was a time of warming. However, temperature ceased rising about 17 years ago. We will see conditions change because of the original warming. However, the cessation of warming 17 years ago, proves that humans are not the main reason for the past warming. The sun is one of the guilty parties. Solar observers state the sun will be in Maunder minimum at 2030. Its going to be cold outside.

The key phrase being "on record". Additionally, that record you speak of was beaten by a whopping 0.14 degrees. I guess only a belly dragging lizard like yourself could distiguish that rise.

Better data shows July this year is the hottest since way back in… 2014. It’s not 4,000 years, not 135 years, it’s the hottest July since the last one.
"We only have 30 years of good climate data: the satellites tell us the pause is real, and last month’s summer temperatures is not a record anything. According to the UAH and RSS global satellites, lower troposphere averages for July 2014 were 0.30C and 0.34C, compared to July 2015 of 0.28C. Even, June 2015 was hotter (UAH, 0.35C; RSS, 0.39C).
July 2015 is not even the hottest month since June."

Seems the hottest raindrops were 115 degrees in Needles, Calif.

Why can't you understand the earth is constantly going through warming and cooling trends.
It is not our fault. We can't cause it and we can't stop it. It's the giant ball of super heated gasses at the center of our solar system that determines the temp of our planet, you ding bat.
Right or wrong, climate change aside. We are still dumping millions of tons of CO2 into the air every year and this needs to stop !

Wetlands and volcanoes are the worst producers of CO2. Like to see some enviro suggest plugging a volcano. Heck, I just want to see one volunteer to place a catalytic converter on a bull.
