Good for Bentley!

Mitt Romney's every move is for his own benefit as he schemes along in his quest for national office. The only reason he offered to endorse Bently is because he sees that as a signal to a lot of Alabamians that he is a national Republican who is a true, deep-dyed conservative like they are. Thus, he hopes, he will grab some sheeple votes in the Presidential primary. Get lost, Mitt!

Romney’s motives are no different than any other politician seeking favor in an upcoming election, Obama included.

This is Bentley’s omitted reason: “A spokeswoman for Bentley, Rebekah Mason, said Friday that Bentley wanted to concentrate on the race for governor and did not want to give the impression that he was endorsing anyone in the 2012 presidential race.”

It’s obvious Bentley will turn down all such endorsements.

So come on, beternU. Tell us what really bothers you about Romney.

Just what the he11 does being a doctor have to do with any informed opinion on this issue? If I'm not mistaken, he's a dermatologist?

Love me some skin docs, but he's insulting our intelligence with this ploy. At conception, zygotes don't have skin. And won't for quite some time. Are we supposed to abandon our opinions on this issue because he's a doctor?

Booshwah.

Not only does he look like Homer Simpson's boss, he shows the same compassion and ability to empathize.

Meet Robert Bentley. http://www.robertbentley2010.c...=meet-robert-bentley

First paragraph we learn he teaches Sunday School at the First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa. How unforeseen in a gubernatorial candidate. Disqualified for office, in my mind. Jimmy Carter taught Sunday School. QED.

Man of Integrity?

Manipulator Extraordinaire, more likely.
