Donald Trump has been a refreshing injection into Politics up and unto the aftermath of the FOX debate. Okay a few disclaimers first. I was supporting Trump and would have voted for Trump in any primary and was hoping he would get the Republican nomination. Second, I do believe that the moderators, at the FOX debate, knew what they were doing and set up Trump, to some degree with the chosen questions about supporting the eventual nominee and the questions about what Trump has called Women in the past.
I was slightly disappointed in Trump's response to Megan but given he's not a seasoned debater and wasn't expecting it as well as being an "off the cuff" guy and not Politically Correct then I understood it. It is in the doubling down and quadrupling down that Donald Trump has done after the debate that has me concerned. Donald Trump MAY be a man that can get the Nation back on the path economically and may can help the Nation compete economically however this is also the man with his finger on the Nuclear trigger.
Donald Trump more and more is appearing as a little spoiled child who cannot take ANY criticism and doesn't really know how to respond. His response to any criticism is to NUKE the person that levies the Criticism and then refuse to have anything to do with the person or who they work for afterwards. So what happens, if he was President, and there was a riff with Russia or China? Do we immediately go Nuclear? Do we then stop talking to them all together? Some of the very things that make Trump attractive (to voters) are things that could be extremely dangerous to the world.
As the result of seeing this spoiled side of Trump, and feeling that this is actually something he cannot control, and after evaluating the performance of the other candidates I have decided that Carly Florina appears to be the most capable candidate to face the Democrats in 2016. I would have no problem supporting her for President or being a Vice Presidential candidate for Rubio, Cruz, or most any one of the other Republicans that were on that stage. So that's my post debate feelings and opinions, regarding "The Donald".
