Just another example of liberals deficiency in math and word problem comprehension.  The tax rates (percentages) were reduced.  The dollars in taxes (revenue) increased -- to the tune of over $2.9 trillion,

why did the deficit increase so dramatically? How much of that revenue was from the social security funds that he raided?

Obviously, the wife keeps the family check book, else you'd be bankrupt.  Congress appropriated much more than was collected.  None of the revenue was from the SS trust fund -- solely tax revenue.

If he hadn't had union thugs intimidating/threatening employers, and had been forced to use his brain to make a living, he'd be living in a cardboard box.

Can you name one time my union had thugs that intimidated or threatened employers? If not, that posting is just another of your prejudiced lying unfounded statements. When I worked, I couldn't spend all my time posting falsehoods the way you do.

You are telling me that Reagan's administration did not borrow from the SS trust fund.

During every administration since, Truman, congress has approved borrowing from the trust fund.

Which one of those posts do you want to stand on?

OK, you’ve proven you know nothing of federal appropriations law, or accounting in general.  Tax revenue derives from taxes – mainly individual and corporate taxes and miscellaneous taxes such as excise taxes and tariffs.

To close the gap between tax revenue and expenses, the government must borrow money.  There are two main sources – external and internal.  External funds are in the form of US Treasury notes.  Internal funding is from various internal government trust funds including the SS trust fund.

I suggest you let the wife manage the family checking account and you stick to welding or whatever,
