How is deciding NOT to do something quitting?

He was testing the waters, mainly to see how much financial support he might expect from big-time donors (Koch, etc.).  Sadly for him, the money prospects were not good.  So he QUIT testing the waters and announced that he would not pursue the nomination.

My guess is Mitt, on a national scale, realized the rednecks would rather

have BHO than an actual leader with the well being of America in mind.

I really can't say that about obama and there isn't a good reason to change

my mind. The last six years have been negative in every way.

So after Hillary is through with you, you won't have that pot you can't even

remember having..

LOL!!! Whew, talk about stretching it! Seems you're challenged in every area, and still trying to make something out of nothing.

Best, really now--If Romney was doing SOMETHING with respect to his potential candidacy, and then QUIT doing what he had been doing, how is it a stretch to say he QUIT? I am afraid that it is, in fact, YOU who are "challenged."   Most first graders know what it is to "quit".

Romney is a bit statistics and facts oriented type.  I suspect after reviewing his chances, he realized his chance of being elected was not good.  Mitt is a good and decent man.  However, its time for new faces and idea.  The Republicans have a plethora of good competent people with experience.  The Dems have one old harridan with no record of accomplishment, except marrying right.
