#1  Why are you allowing advertising on this free site?

#2  3 or 4 months ago, there was a train wreck in Loretto.  It made Nashville news, but no mention of it in the Times Daily.

#3  This past weekend, a man was killed when he fell off a 100 foot high bluff in Loretto and again, no mention of it in the Times Daily.

I buy your paper every day.  Why do you not have coverage of events 25 miles away?

Several times I have tried to contact your reporters.  I called their phones (numbers obtained in the Times Daily office when I was in it trying to contact them), got their answering machine, left my name and phone number.  I was never contacted any time.

Curious to know what exactly you consider "Free Advertising" going on here?

IF a forum member is an owner of a business and chooses to post and promote their business then I would agree it's circumventing paid advertising.  IF however a forum member with no ties, financial or otherwise comments on a business in a positive (or negative) way then that's what the forum is for if say it's someone recommending or advising about something they have found that they want to inform others about.  So just curious what post or topic you feel is taking advantage of "free advertising" on this forum?

Why would it be different? He's still getting free advertising.

Semi, if you own a business that someone on here asks a question about, wouldn't you post some information to clarify it?

How about if you posted it? That's funny, who do you think I was talking about? I didn't see a link OB posted to take down. I don't call everything a blog, there you go putting words in my mouth again.

________

What is it about my saying he's getting free advertising that brought on that question?

Getting back to the initial post. They do delete spam usually as soon as they see it but this forum isn't moderated constantly. May be a day or two but eventually they will delete it.
