Jeez! Doesn't anyone watch their kids anymore!

Around 1500 hrs., CNN reported the child's body has been recovered.
No signs posting the presence of alligators probably for the same reason that the tourist town in "Jaws" didn't want to acknowledge the presence of great whites.
The parents are from Nebraska.
I remember years ago, when the government was deciding whether to remove the gators from the threatened list to the managed list (managed hunting), a government man argued there weren't any in Nebraska, yet. Their governor informed him, nor would there be.
I don't see their worth.

Oh gosh, I meant I don't see the gators worth!
I have been on that beach and kids play at the waters edge all the time. I lived in Orlando and always eyed every retention pond etc with caution. However I must confess to walking around the waters edge at Disney with my daughter and not giving it a moments thought. I guess I thought Disney had a very active and good "not perfect" gator trapping and relocation program. Port Orleans and Riverside were two of or favorite hotels to stay, scary to think about now!
