Don't see a problem with that! It might help bussinesses in Californication decide to move to Alabama.

Perhaps, don't know for certain, but the bill the House passed today having to do with no longer funding sanctuary cities may go a long way towards making that happen.

I know that it might make everyone feel better to lash out and retaliate, but lately the left is doing such a good job destroying themselves; why bother getting upset. Their "liberal" spending has gotten to the point of bankrupting their leftist states, so many of those states talk about taxing their productive citizens and they are scaring away businesses. Also their statist viewpoint and unsafe cities should push their better citizens to look for a friendlier and safer place to live. And more than anything, smiling and treating liberals with kindness as one would treat a child really pizzes them off much more than getting in their faces. Besides, someone should be the adult in the room!

If the feds do cut funding to CA sanctuary cities, who's going to fund them?  The incoming Alabama $$ and income from other banned states.

What kind of message does that send to the "better citizens" contemplating a move to a banned state?

They'd probably be looking for an adult who would standup to this shakedown.  That would make them feel welcome more than anything.  If anything like this comes to pass, Alabama is going to be in competition with other banned states for the best of these better citizens.  I'm thinking any state that doesn't take a stand against the very state policies that led them to leave in the first place won't be high on their list of the next state they reside.

Start with cancelling the Fresno State game.  Schedule the game with an instate team and let them get the big payday.

I think the better citizens would appreciate that.

FWIW.

I wouldn't stop sporting events.  Too many schools require the revenue.  Don't desire too may of the Calis moving here.  They carry the parasitic zombie virus endemic to Democrats.  The businesses and money, certainly.  When, I was a kid, Alabama's major exports were agricultural -- cotton, corn, canola oil, soybeans, for instance.  We've added pork (not the DC kind) and poultry.  However, the major Alabama export is now cars.  Thank you, UAW, for nothing!  Huntsville aka Pentagon South is becoming a silicon valley.

We not only buy guns in the South, we now make them.http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/04/gun_manufacturers_move_south_r.html  Note the map doesn't include Panther Arms in Huntsville.

How bout it liberals?  Awfully quiet.  As Crash would say "nothing but crickets."

They sneak in and read, but until they get new fake news against Trump, they have nothing to talk about.

They're mostly echo chambers -- between their ears and repeating what is politically correct.

Well, it's only fair that failing Dem  dumb states send their industries our way; it was Dem dumb trade negotiators who exported the textile and small manufacturing jobs in the Southeast to Mexico, China, and other low wage countries in the Clinton era. As for the Repubs who went along with the "take it or leave it" deals, helping agribusiness at the expense of other industries was plain stupid.

But the NCAA would.  Consider the sanctions against SC over the Confederate Flag.  Is not CA doing the same thing?

According to news reports, the Fresno game was "grandfathered in."  Might be a scheduling problem but so what?  Bama wouldn't lose a dime replacing Fresno.  That's a CA financial problem of their own choosing, not ours.

Yeah, I know.  Ain't gonna happen.

Not everyone in CA voted for Hillary.  There are Republican NRA members there too who appreciate Alabama more than the liberals here we co-exist.

There are probably signed contracts concerning the Fresno game.  Too many rice bowls involved.  Too bad membership in the NRA, for a period of 5 years or more, couldn't be a requirement for immigration from the bowels of California to the South.
