Welcome to winter in the south.

Well around the South and this area, as most, if not all, of you know everyone will be raiding the stores come Thursday and Friday and there will not be a gallon of milk to be found.  People usually hoard up food and milk as if they are going to be snowed in for weeks instead of days but then a storm of this magnitude, if it manifest itself, could shut things down for a  few days depending on the following weather that comes after it.

I just remember several folks that follow "the signs" saying that this coming winter was to be a very "wet" one with much more snow than normal.  As for me I don't know for sure about it and I guess no one will until maybe around Thursday when most will be able to get a more accurate picture of just what might occur.

There's brandy, Kahlua and coffee in the pantry. Just make sure there's a bit of cream and I'm set. Firewood just outside the door. Retired and nowhere to "have to go to."

Bring on a big Snow..! (Wishful thinking) May need to pick up some Bird seed, other wise, we are all set.

Thinking of the sick folks that may need to get to the hospitals STAT. We don't "do" snow because it's just not that common. I always think about the sick and elderly, and the poor animals that people don't care for in bad weather.

What a much ado about nothing.  Looks like now, if we get anything, it's going to be under an inch.  Then again I know the old saying to run when they say there is not going to be anything happening.  Sorry for the false warning.

Very little traffic around the mall are this morning.
