Read the article in the paper yesterday but can't seem to find it on timesdaily.com.

Kinda neat how he is the first male ever licensed to do this kind of work in the entire US of A, even if it doesn't involve curing cancer. And its not everyday that the Shoals can claim a first-ever thing like this.

Can't the censoring powers that be at the TimesDaily allow us to crow just a little bit over this achievement before taking the story down??? Confused

I would expect that yesterday's front page story about a local boy (who was also the subject of an article last week in Details, a magazine with national distribution) would be one of the most read stories.

So I am confused as to why the article does not appear under the 'most read' tab on the timesdaily.com homepage (or anywhere else on the site for that matter).

Hey there is a plot for your first gay porn film.

Mr. Norton's comparison of himself to civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks in an attempt to describe his trailblazing role in the field of legalized male prostitution (from the Details magazine interview) qualifies as one of the most incredible statements ever made. Period.

Ever seen the male model fashion awards intro from the movie Zoolander? Cool
Excerpt from the first scene of the movie Zoolander:

quote:
Matilda Jeffries (Time magazine reporter interviewing famous male model Derek Zoolander): So when did you know you wanted to be a model?
Derek Zoolander: Well I guess it all started the first time I went through the second grade. I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking "wow, you're ridiculously good looking, maybe you could do that for a career."

Excerpt from Mr. Norton's January 13, 2010 interview in Details magazine when asked how he came to be involved in the world's oldest profession:

quote:
Patrick Norton: I was reading a book—How To Make Love Like a Porn Star by Jenna Jameson. Yeah, I was reading that book and I thought, "Hey, I want to do that. I'm a talented that way. I can hack that." And here I am. It's funny how things work out.
