Girl, 5, sent home from kindergarten with horror facial injuries blaming classmates 'who kicked her' as devastated mom blasts school's claim it was an accident

  • AvaLynn suffered severe bruising and swelling after an alleged beating at kindergarten
  • The five-year-old's mother, Lacey Harris, has begun a social media campaign
  • Police have said they will not begin an investigation because they do not believe a crime took place

A Mississippi mother has launched an online campaign for justice after her little girl was allegedly severely beaten in a vicious playground attack last week.

Disturbing images posted to the 'Justice for AvaLynn' Facebook page by mother Lacey Harris reveal the kindergarten student's bruising injuries, which her school claims happened when the five-year-old fell over.

Harris refutes the official explanation from Arlington Elementary School and says that she wants a police investigation because her child's injuries are simply too severe to have been caused by a fall.

I agree peede.  Too many questions here.  Could not the child identify her assailant?  Fell on what?  Could not a medical professional familiar with blunt force trauma pattern injuries make a determination between an assault and a fall?  And the local PD says no crime?  Is there no source of information other than FB?

Were there no children who witnessed the event?  A fall may not have gotten attention but an assault recess most likely would.  Presuming there would be yelling and screaming.

Odd that no teacher was supervising during recess but that is like herding cats even when one is.  So have to wonder if "no teacher present" meant none present at the site of the event when it happened.  And how were school authorities notified?  By the screams?  By the victim?  By witnesses?

What the ****???!!! Indeed!

The white mother, there's no mystery here.....

Not sure what that has to do with a child being possibly beat to a pulp while at school? That child did not pick her mother or father!
