Well, which is it? Sounds like one of those many contradictions you find in the Bible. If you fail after trying not to sin that way again, when does it become willful sin? Anyone can know they’re failing, & that it’s a “sin” but they do it anyway due to weakness or whatever. All you gotta do every time you fail is say “Forgive me” & you’re good to go all over again. Sort of like the OSAS folks believe.
“Everyone falls to sin in some area or another. If your area happens to be sex, there is still hope. While you cannot become a virgin again, you can obtain God’s forgiveness. You just have to ask for it and try not to sin that way again. What truly angers God is willful sin, when you know you are sinning and keep on participating in that sin”.
