Trust me I'm not complaining at all but I can only remember, for myself, one year that had a milder winter than we seem to be having this year.  With the exception of that one short cold spell where we got down to 14 degrees and a couple of other days it's been fairly warm and great.    Now I know that things can turn around quickly and a friend of mine cautions me that we will pay, in March, for this great warm January weather because usually the warm January weather means an ice storm or two come February and/or March.

I don't know about his personal weather prognosis but I've noticed a lot of motorcycles running around and more crowded fishing ramps with the warmer, than usual, weather and for myself I'm liking it.  I just worry more about severe storms that often accompany stark changes in the weather as it goes from extremely warm to bitter cold but maybe we won't have too many of those transitions.

Climate Change is a fact of history and will be a factor in the future.  There is evidence though that the records and figures have been cooked over the years so I'm not so sure that any of the Government's data is legit and factual due to the government, or the last 8 years under the Obama Administration, having a vested interest in having numbers agree to back up their

I'm not denying Climate Change but I'm also not buying "Man Made" Global warming.  In fact I don't think mankind could affect the weather in any way if he set out to do so.  Given that I don't accept that Man is responsible for anything related to Climate Change.

We were supposed to have weather like Florida's before now, (predicted in the 50s), because of the changing jet streams. Plus, climate change is not necessarily a bad thing.

One of the positives I read was that it would create rich, fertile, much needed farmland.

That being said plus the rain we've gotten recently, we in north Alabama are still in stages of drought ranging from moderate in Lauderdale to extreme in Lawrence.

If "man made global warming" or "man made climate change" exist it exist in the form of man changing the data to support whatever agenda the men that change it have.  Some may wish to make it appear to happen in order to achieve funding for their own projects or departments or others may wish to insure political money comes their way or to someone that they are supported by.
