I would suggest listening to the candidates on each topic, position, or subject that is of interest to you and vote for the one that YOU feel will do the best job to represent the City of Florence. I certainly would not base my decision on the opinions on those on a forum of whom you have no clue who they are or their political or moral views.

________

People that run for office will say anything to get elected.

Sorry. You have me confused with someone who could win an election. No disrespect to animal control officers (of which I do truly respect), but I would not run for dog catcher if it was an elected position.

The question was about the mayor of Florence. Nothing was mentioned about a dog catcher or anything else.

Smile!!!  It's politics!!! I reread your message and understand your point. Again, I would not be asking anyones opinion, including mine, on a forum.

I'm concerned about Singleton's close ties to the po-po department. There's just too much of a connection there.

I THINK Haddock will be a little more progressive? I hope? I want 7 Points a party point for UNA. I want to walk down the street with a cup of adult beverage and not be arrested. I want this town to join the 21st century and get it's thumb off the young population.

Based on that, I think Haddock. But I cold certainly be persuaded otherwise. Both are excellent candidates.

Simpson? Really?
