Those sites are simply opinions, not necessarily facts.

The truth is neither on the left nor the right, it's somewhere in the middle. You should not rely on one site or channel to get your information, you should look at both sides and make up your own mind. If you only look at things from one point of view, you're getting half the story.

So tell me the specific Fox news story that you've seen and found to be untrue and when it aired. Be specific, I'd like to know the actual story and the facts that prove it to be fictional with intent to mislead. Not something you've heard about, but a story that you have personally watched and determined on your own that it is false.

I DID TOO answer your question!!!! But if you want me to be a little more specific, O'Reilly... he CLAIMS to be unbiased, but when he gets the "other-side" on there, he doesn't allow them to speak... that is just one of their talk shows though...

But when reporting the news, there DEFINITELY is a different slant than any other News Channel I have ever watched... They are a very Bush oriented Channel... and there is no doubt about it.

Let's look at the facts here. The site you linked says about itself: "Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media."

In simple terms, this means it is a liberal web site who's goal is to discredit conservative information outlets. Since Fox is considered by many to be conservative, it's on their target list.

Now let's look at the link you provided regarding Fox's report on California schools banning the Declaration of Independence because it mentions God.

This is misleading. The original story was actually about a lawsuit, Williams v. Vidmar. Williams, the teacher, provided a number of historical documents that made mention of God. One of those was the Declaration of Independence. Some parents felt as if he was teaching religion and a lawsuit followed. Find out the real facts concerning the case for yourself.

GWB sent a "emergency military spending bill". The Dem's are GOING (haven't done it yet) to send him a "emergency PORK bill with some military spending included and assumption of his control as CiC". He told them before they even started on the bill that he would veto any bill with dates for Iraq withdrawl included. Therefore I would say that Megyn Kelly was correct in her statement that "Democrats are "stymieing [Bush's] requests for supplemental funding in Iraq".

I see it differently. You tried to demonstrate the credibility of Fox News. You could not succeed in that effort. They are not credible, and they are radically biased. I know for certain that the "news" is influenced by a conservative bias, and so do you. Any attempt by you to PROVE otherwise is Bound to fail. On the commentary side, they don't even make a pretense of being unbiased. You also know that.

I think you are on a fool's errand, and you are trying to make a silk purse. I would not go so far as to say the quality of your raw material is as good as a sow's ear. You seem to be trying to weave it from "whole cloth."

The sites you posted are not radically biased? Why is it that you think if it's biased towards the left, it's accurate but if it's biased towards the right, it's not? My goal was not to prove that Fox is not biased, but that it is an actual news source. Yes, as I've said before it leans to the right and should be double checked, but it does not intentionally mislead like ICH and the other sites you posted. I proved my point. You could only go to obscure left wing sites to try and debunk me and you failed. You won't admit it, but you did.
