And does anyone know a web site that will display it.

For example:

Genesis 1-22

Next would be the book of Job

Exodus

Psalms 90

Leviticus

Numbers

Deuteronomy

Psalms 91

Joshua

Judges

Ruth

I Samuel 1-10-13

Psalms 23

And on and on, I could list them all, by the way that I have read the Holy Bible.  But just don't want to bore you with the whole list.

Well, dinosaur, since we know your questions are so sincere and all...

We also know you have a vocabulary and small degree of public education your posts don't betray, but this time we feel you just may have unintentionally failed to think before you posted here.

Books of the Bible concern various topics. Some versions actually COMPILE them in chronological order. Most do not. I'm sure there are copious sites on the Internet which can answer your question in more detail...as well as Bill Gray.

Can we be absolutely sure of the chronological order of Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John?

Hi all,

It is pretty broadly accepted by theologians and Bible scholars that Job was the first book written.  However, the Bible is laid out as God wanted it to be, to serve His purpose.   The Bible was written by 40 men, living in different times and in diverse geographical locations, over a 1600 year period -- yet, the Bible is unified in its message of salvation.  That is the one theme of the Bible, salvation for mankind.

It is said:  The Old Testament looks forward to Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.  And, the New Testament looks back at His finished work on the cross.

That is how we should view the Bible.  Yet, the Bible is our forward looking radar -- for Biblical prophecy tells us exactly what will happen in the future

All we have to do is, by grace, through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross -- believe what the Bible tells us and receive His "paid in full" gift of eternal life.  If we do that, we will have a glorious eternal life in and with Christ.  If we do not, we will have a miserable eternal life void of the presence of God.

That is the story of the Bible -- and it is told exactly as He wants it to be told.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
