Not like we will have ever have a casino in Northwest Alabama any time soon. I will be the first one to tell you more than likey your hardly ever going to win at most of them anyway, they don't build them casinos, pay their employees and pay the light bills to be in the business of losing money.
But the facts are:
Mississippi has 30 casinos.
Employes 25,730 people.
Employee wages average of $855.25 million dollars last year alone.
Gross revenues since they legalize gambling was 2.465 billion
Gambling taxes since 1992 is 296.34 million.
1% of indivduals who gamble will develop a pathological gambling problem.
And if Tishomingo County goes wet, what next for them.
Is gambling a sin, the only thing so far that I found was Exodus 20:17 "You shall not covet your neighbors house, you shall not covet your neighbors wife, or male or female slave, ox or donkey that belongs to your neighbor". This does not apply to me since Shania Twain is not my neighbor.
