WoW players: WotLK expansion

I think it is a decent expansion for a game that is four years old. Of my four 70's, I've decided to only continue playing two. It feels too much like 'work' to level, gear, skill up professions, rep grind, etc. for four toons. My pally tank is up to 78 (and yes, life gets better with Cold Weather Flying) and is parked for rested exp while I begin leveling my hunter. The difficulty level of the instances seems to be below par compared to BC, we haven't had ANY problems so far (up through Violet Hold). As for ganking, no problems here. I'm on a Care Bear server

I have actually started playing LOTRO and in my opinion it is a much better game, but it's hard to leave WoW because I have friends that I have played with for a couple of years and hate to leave them behind.

I've been busy so I haven't had time to play and haven't gotten the expansion. I do have a 60 pally that I've leveled to make my death knight. I have three 70s so I'll have my work cut out for me when and if I do pick it up.

Haven't played much lately, which can be traced back to the day Kato the Attack Kitty arrived.

My husband, son & their friends seem to be really enjoying it though. We had computers and WOW players from one end of the house to the other the Friday night after the new expansion came out.

I've been pretty busy as well, but apparently people have enough time to hit 80 already. I've been ganked quite a bit.

I think the quests are a lot more fun than the BC expansion. The new mobs and environments look great as well. My only complaint is that shaman still have no CC. Thunderstorm is cool with it's knock back, but seriously, we need a stun! Rogues get 20 different kinds, why can't we just get one?
