My BCBS insurance has had 3 premium increases in the last year, one of which included the doubling of the annual deductible. I dont care who fixes the problem, just fix it.
You my ill-informed friend are a lost cause. what you speak of is
exactly the consequences of this stupid draft of a plan. It will do nothing to freeze your costs. BC/BS raised their rates in anticipation of it, and because they will be forced to take on those who have had no pre-existing coverage despite their history.
You are an idiot, if you believe that the corporations should have no say in picking their healthcare plans. These plans cost money, and young people are often involved in accidents, shootings, and malignancies which cost huge dollars to treat and will eat up a company's coverage very very quickly.
McDonald's is the first of many from which this will happen, and then MEDICAID will be the only game in town, but that is what the government wants - one covergae for everyone. Every one equal with the same sorry state of care. So despite your hate for the rich, whom you think will be able to afford it, we can all suffer in misery, since they will be the only game in town. But then again a socialist believes everyone should suffer like he or she does.
BTW, I am not speaking from Rush, I am speaking from my current knowledge of how the system works and what businesses have said all along they would do if this plan was implemented.
