Reply to "90 PERCENT OF WORLD'S PLASTIC WASTE COMES FROM ASIA AND AFRICA"

A 2017 study of China’s Yangtze River, which provides water for hundreds of millions of people living within its river basin, found that microplastic levels in the Yangtze reached nearly 9,000 particles per cubic meter, about half the levels found in the Tennessee River.

 

This is much closer to home. Like in the back yard.
