So, after the Flood God decreed that man, and many animals, would eat meat, fish, and fowl.   Until then, they ate only green plants.

This is very interesting, Bill.  Why does God keep changing his mind about what we can, and cannot eat?

Hi Crusty,

That is a good observation.  However, God did not change His mind; He just adjusted His plan to accommodate man's failure.   Of  course, this was in His plan all along -- for, being omniscient, He knew that Adam would fall into sin by disobeying.  And, still within  His plan -- He knew that He would send Jesus Christ to earth as God Incarnate -- to offer all mankind eternal life, eternal salvation.

He is a much better coach than even Nick Sabin -- for His game plan is perfect.  His game plan allows all men,  who will, to be  saved and have eternal life in Christ.

So, He started man off eating the green plants of earth; like you and I were started on Pablum or mom's milk.  Then, mankind  graduated to eating meat -- just like you and I did when we began to mature.   See how smart our God is -- He had His plan for us all  laid out before He created us.

And, a major part of that plan is that He gave you and me "free will" -- the freedom for each of us to choose to follow Him or to deny  Him.

Another part of that plan is heaven and hell.  Of course, He first created hell for Satan and his demonic angels -- but, once again,  thinking ahead -- He made it large enough to accommodate the humans who were too dumb or too stubborn to follow Him.

Yes, my Friend, our God is an awesome God!  And, His plan for mankind is perfect -- even though you and I are far from being  perfect.   Crusty, my Friend, YOU really should give Him a try.   If you do, you WILL be eternally grateful.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
