Republicans talk several different things, culture, games/movies, single parent families, bullies, God taking out of school, untrained teachers, union interference in schools, etc. The difference is one is a tool, the other are possible causes. The reason we need to figure our solutions on a cause is that might change for future. Where as taking away the symptom, the cause will still be there.

We haven't even ventured into other territories, such as unwed mothers (kids), child abuse, (kids left in abusive situations), teachers having sex with teens, and grown men calling the teen boys lucky. There are so many reasons for these shootings to be happening, things that ARE fixable, but the left only needs and wants to harp on one thing to stir up people, guns. Now they are going after kids so they can keep their voter base going and growing. Dems do not care about kids. Of the 17 that were killed, the left would have supported them being torn out of their mother's bodies if she had chosen to do that, or allowed someone to stick a pair of scissors in their brains after they were born. They would have put on their little pink ***** hats and marched for the women's rights to kill them. Now, dead, they are of use to them in other ways.
