Nicky then went on to say that when a HS player commits to the Tide, their commitment "should mean something" (he was referring to losing Keenan Allen to Cal). But he forgets that he was trying to get Shon Coleman, up until the very last minute, to change his commitment from AU to Bama (of course, his pleading with Coleman didn't work). If he is so concerned about kids keeping their word, why is he trying to sway solid verbal commits from other schools to Bama? Sounds kind of hypocritical, dontcha think?

The truth is, recruiting can get nasty, and that's fine as long as rules are adhered to. I have no problem with coaches trying to sway commits from other schools to their program. (Tubs swayed Carnell Williams from UT at the last second. All evidence I have seen suggests he did it perfectly legally). But to go to the press and cry like a baby about commits not holding their word is just laughable. Get over it Nicky, it happens EVERY year to EVERY school. I watch it happen to AU every season. We move on. Big deal. I never recall Dye, lil' Bowden, Tubs or the Chiz *****in' about it to the press.

The sad thing is, Bama is coming off its 8th NC, just had a top 5 class, and yet Nicky wants to cry a river about a couple of commits not holding their word. Jeezus, spare me.

I guess he is pissed that Florida had perhaps the best recruiting class in football history.

And the jealousy continues as always.

First thing about corruption I think you need to get a few facts straight. Auburn is right at the top of programs to be on probation. Between the years 1957 - 1995 AU was on probation for 13 years. 33% of the time in nearly 40 years.

From 1951 to 1998 -- NEARLY 50 YEARS -- Auburn didn't have a single head football coach who didn't operate under probation at some point. And yes this includes the beloved Coach Dye and keep it down home cuz.

During this time period Alabama had been put on probation only once. Pretty amazing isn't it?

Look at your own program and transgressions before accusing others.

Secondly, another fact you need to check out is that Shon Coleman was the one that contacted Coach Bo Davis about interest in Alabama along with Ole Miss and Miami. We DIDN'T contact him he called us.

One other thing you might want to check out is Corey Lemonoir's(signed LOI 2/03/09 to AU) facebook page. Looks pretty proud of that brand new Corvette. Coincidence?
