Alabama's Saturday was bookended by two arrests.

Safety Geno Smith was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with driving under the influence. Defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor was arrested Saturday night on domestic violence charges.

Alabama reacted swiftly following Taylor's arrest, announcing Sunday that it has dismissed the defensive tackle, who has a history of domestic violence issues.
