Americans Getting Continuation of Bush Tax Policy

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Obama is more than likely going to keep Bush's tax cuts in place until they expire in 2011. That being said, it is funny that Obama's biggest platform was cutting taxes for 95% and raising for the top 5%, and before he takes office it is already off the table. This just goes to show everyone that politicians (even the great Obama) will say whatever it takes to get elected.
