the People's NC counts about as much as the 6 Alabama added to its media guide in 1983, it is noted, but really shouldn't be used in an argument. My beef with the NC arguments is this 13 - 1 or 13 - 1/2 Bama fans try and pull. You can't count two different ways (especially when Alabama is the only source that give Alabama 13) to make an argument. Choose one, either Bama has 8 and Auburn has 1 (which I am fine with) or Bama has 13 and Auburn has 8. If I am going to ignore common sense and count in a similar method to Alabama, I might has well start the argument that Auburn has 8 and Bama has 8.

(Also, any Alabama fan that wants to try and knock Auburn for being on probation during the 1957 title needs to remember what Bama is currently on right now).
