BAM is a bookstore -- not a family bookstore or a chick book bookstore or a self help bookstore -- they carry every kind of reading material you can imagine. They even have the Joy of Sex and other "self-help" books. Someone most likely picked the book up in that section and moved elsewhere to read it and not look so obvious. You should keep an eye on your kids I completely agree, but you shouldn't run to the News Media to handle something that you as a parent could have handled with the Manager of the store. You immediately jump to the Porn conclusion -- nudity is art in many ways and I doubt very seriously that "child porn" is sold on the open market -- that is saved for the dirty old men on the internet. I appreciate your wanting to protect the children, but I think you over-reacted to this situation. And by "hiding the book" for the News guy to fine -- you just hid the book for some other unsuspecting person to find it instead -- that seems like you were the one being shady...

I agree with NWBama -- you should have handled it right then and there with a manager and made the scene instead of running to the News Media -- that's so typical of the thinking of people today.
