I think you may have made an assumption that is not necessarily accurate.
But you should be aware that BAM (and any other book store) has a section for human sexuality. BAM's is quite extensive - both sides of half an aisle - with each book covering anything from the Kama Sutra to the evolution of sex to manuals to fantasy. All are replete with pictures and graphic illustration and language. And all of them are at eye level to a 5 year old.
It's not "porn" if it is educational material. Your child will pick up on your attitudes about sex. You need to consider whether that is a good thing or not. In my opinion, an open, frank discussion about sex that removes this silly puritanical attitude we Americans have about sex is a very productive way to lower your blood pressure and educate your children about sex.
