Reply to "Books a Million...."

quote:
I have been wondering whether I should give you people the satisfaction from me commenting on what you have said. The DHR statement had to be over the top.. My children are well supervised and taken care of. In fact, more so that most of the people that do go to Books A Million.. books thrown everywhere toys out of new boxes strown all over the place.. Guess these parents just sat there and watch while they destroyed the childrens section.. My children are of all ages..because I have joint custody of my neices and nephews.. I am very proud that my nephew felt comfortable enough to bring the book to my attention instead of being a sneaky little @$$ and continue looking at it.
I am very sorry that I offended so many of you.. I was just concerned that this type of material was at the reach of our young children.. And the comment about the library..yes we do go to the library and yes.. we do give Books A Million quite a lot of business .. in our library at home we have over 500 books.. So the feedback that I got from most of you.. maybe you wouldn't mind putting your children on a mailing list so for their next birthday they can receive a copy of the book about Japan's Sex Houses.. I am really sorry that I offended so many of you.. Guess we'll just kept the filth for our children to be exposed too....

Sorry but YOU are the one who was "too upset' to deal with the manager on this matter,,yet was NOT too upset to
1.call a media source to report it
2. hide the book for the media to find it
Offended? nope, not at all. I simply saw someone who thought they might get themselves on the evening news for one of those 30 second shots,,proclaiming their concern for the children of course.
