Research being conducted at Baltimore's Johns Hopkins University indicates that psilocybin may be useful in relieving chronic pain such as cluster headaches or other neurological disorders.
In a preliminary report in the June issue of Neruology, a medical journal, 20 cases are discussed where psilocybin stopped cluster headaches more reliably than other prescription medications.
