well, pidgin is a open source program- if you can think of a better way to implement password storage for them, they will be more than glad to take your code. they have MTN setup for this reason.

the networks are not actively tryin' to infect the users, the users typically have to download and initiate something to be infected, therefor it is the users fault for being infected.
