if you're not sure about your discretionary abilities, run a active virus scanner (avg, NOD32) and MAKE SURE IT IS UPDATED.

also run spybot search and destroy, and malware bytes anti-malware (free) once a week, MAKE SURE THEY ARE UPDATED.

those two things will save you from a lot of problems.
