Farrakhan plays it smart. He caused blacks to distrust and hate Jews in their communities. Jews, who were strong within the civil right movement.
Its called plausible deniability. Farrakhan sold his poison, got rich and gained influence, which peddles amongst the Democrats.
Plausible deniability has an old history. For example, the Holocaust. The Holocaust happened, it was real, and 8 to 10 million died under horrible circumstances. The victims included about 6 million Jews, plus gays, Roma (gypsies), and political prisoners. But, who ordered? Of course, we'd state Adolf Hitler and be correct. However, historians, to this day, can't find the order or even suggestion that he ordered the mass murders.
As to the KKK, Of the 4,743 persons lynched by the KKK from 1882 to 1964, 1,297 were white Republicans. So, pardon me, if I have a strong distrust of them.
