One wonders just how long this bogus report of 147 investigators will continue to be repeated. Given the persistence of so many other discredited wingnut rumors, it is hard to say. The "I will stand with the Muslims" bogus quote of the President's has been around 7 or 8 years and has been thoroughly discredited for about that long, but persists virally among the determined true believer nutjobs who believe what they believe only because they WANT to believe it.

Besides all this, it is absolutely irrational to contend that this e-mail issue has not been adequately covered in the national media. All the print and electronic media, left and right, have been on top of this story.
