The "faith healing" RACKET, as practiced by money-grubbing con men (and con women) like Benny Hinn, Ernest Angley, the corrupt Roberts family (the late Oral R. and his corrupt spawn Richard), Pat Robertson, and their odious ilk. They will continue to deceive the desperate sick and suffering who rely in vain on these charlatans. It is gullibility and ignorance that supplies the modern practice of "faith healing" with its clientele. And it is STUPIDITY verging on criminal that impels some disordered leaders of ultraconservative evangelicals to continue hosting large gatherings in crowded auditoriums (or "sanctuaries" or whatever they call their meeting spaces) without masks or adequate social distancing on the assumption that God expects them to come together and therefore will protect them and their alleged Constitutional right to assemble under such dangerous circumstances. A fair number of super-spreader events have been spawned from this irrationality, and thus far the victims have not been relieved by "faith healing," which is not one of the therapies undertaken in intensive care units.
