It was expected that the Democrats would win control of the House while Republicans would keep the Senate and now it appears the Republicans will actually gain some seats in the Senate and quite likely because of the way Democrats did Judge Kavanaugh, and rightfully so.
Some of the races that the Democrats were counting on though they appear to have lost and those are the governorships of Florida and Georgia along with the Texas Senate Seat that Democrats thought would go to their Kennedy look alike but it appears that Ted Cruze has taken that race. Democrats will certainly make the most of the victories that awarded them control of the House but there was not that huge BLUE Wave that they thought would occur especially since they lost Governor races in Florida and Georgia.
