Reply to "Disaster in the gulf"

Disaster is too mild a term for the entire Gulf Coast and at worst case, the US Atlantic and perhaps even Cuba, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Turks and Caicos.

The dark stuff has not even reached shore yet. That stuff is hard to get rid of and harder still to burn. It will be like tar when it comes ashore! Only the light stuff is reaching the marshes in LA right now. But a bird has been sighted in LA covered with the actual crude. Bon Secour? Bayou LaBatre? The entire Gulf Barrier Island complex and then on down into Appilachicola Bay and then towards Tampa and outwards towards Merida?

I am heart sick. I think this calls for a Dunkirk type action, myself.
