But another thought I had -- Obama gives the go ahead for more drilling in the gulf and shortly after this situations happens. Not insinuating that Obama had anything to do with it, but it is very odd the chain of events. Makes you wonder if someone somewhere didn't have a hand in it.......we may never know what caused the accident. I feel for the families that lost loved ones.


I have heard that he put a stop to new deep well drilling until it can be determined what went wrong here and what can be done to prevent it in the future.

This is one more reason we should push hard and support new technology for getting away from oil as a major energy source. Drill baby Drill may sound like a good slogan for that dimwit from Alaska, but in the real world, drilling for oil is a risky and dirty business.
