The British military stated they halted a second attack because of the presence of reporters. That is a fact. Whether they are called hostages or not is not particularly relevant.
Lintfilter, I said I wasn't going to try and explain this any further and I am really surprised at your lack of understanding of the story since for the most part you seem to be one of the less FOXOPHILED of the rethugliteacons and thus more intelligent. I could be underestimating the effects of being associated with TEABAGGERS, that WOULD produce an instant dumbing down I guess.
Fox News had a story that was basically accusing CNN and other news organizations of HELPING Kadifi by sending reporters on junkets to Kadafi's palace.
Fox was claiming they DID not send reporters because this was a trick by Kadafi to use reporters as human shields.
The CNN reporter called them liars and explained that Fox was basically too lazy to actually send reporters ANYWHERE in Libya.
It was learned that although a reporter from Fox didn't go, they sent a security gaurd with a camera to Kadafi's headquarters WITH the other reporters including CNN
When caught in a LIE, FOX admitted LYING!
That is a synopsis of what has been ALL over the news and comedy shows, especially THE DAILY SHOW (after all it is fun to watch Fox make Fools of themselves, but somehow sad to see them make a fool out of you, Mr Elinterventor)
