This must be something you need Bill. I think most of us can follow along without you starting a new thread about the same discussion already going on. As frog said it is just confusing. I click on a new thread and realize that you have just started a new one for no good reason, and I have just wasted my time reading it again.
Define "spitting contest" please. I have seen you use that term a lot here, but you use it for varying reasons. Sometimes its when someone disagrees with you, others its when you have tried to zing someone with one of your snarky, passive aggressive quips, and they come back with a more intelligent and witty response. Your next post usually will contain the words "spitting contest".
