Let's not forget also the other Virginia politicians, another white accused of blackface offenses and then there is their lt. Governor, a minority, accused of rape by a woman with much better and solid credibility than the woman with Kavanagh yet he also is allowed to skate and the media remains deaf, dumb, and blind to all those.

One more case for you.  Here in Alabama, remember someone by the name of Judge Roy Moore who wasn't even elected or in office and the uproar against him that cost him the election and how the National media jumped on, and led, the parade against him?  National media not interested in State affairs is an outright lie if someone tries to make that allegation.  Democrats and liberals are taken care of by their own.

You also have Ellison and Booker....Tom Carper. As for Moore...we also had a confession from dems that a wealthy dem donor paid them to pose as Russians online and interfere with Moore's campaign. Another thing that cost him the election. But dems still swallow that camel while they strain at the gnat of the "Russian interference" in the 2016 election. Again....why has no one asked Northam who the people in the picture were...if not him? We know why...because it WAS him.

Jutu, one reason the Governor continues to fight and stay in office and most likely will remain, although guilty as sin, is that most of his base, the Democrats don't really give a care and the others are just so mind numb and can be programmed to believe what they will and never think on their own that when the media doesn't report it then it doesn't exist.

As for when it happens to a Republican or Conservative you have the Lap Dogs ("D" is highlighted for reason) who whenever anything is mentioned about a Conservative they go yapping endlessly as if whatever was alleged was the end of the world and continue chasing their tails, so to say, until the person relents and gives in.  I believe when there is a problem, Democrat or Republican they both deserve to face the same penalty and have equal justice but that doesn't exist today.  May never!    Just look at how Hillary skated on sure felonies whereas Trump is in the battle for his Presidency over something he never did and has been proven he, nor his campaign, ever did.  There is no comparison to the two inquiries either.  Hillary's escapades were well documented so there was no doubt that she, or someone on her behalf, deleted emails and wiped out hard drives and that she had a private server on her own property that she did business from and that's not even getting into the issues with Benghazi that never were solved as well as the interviews with the justice Dept where she was able to have lawyers in with her, was never put under oath, and never was a special counselor named nor subpoenas honored and served.

With Trump, based entirely on a known false dossier that was paid for by opposition parties, a Special Counsel was named and millions of dollars spent and the Special Investigator had a group of investigators that were entirely Trump hating paid assassins looking for anything but found nothing.   With Hillary there was plenty there but it was cast out and forgiven all because they said she didn't intend to do what she did.  She was guilty of offenses that were actual felonies but she didn't intend to do it so she was let off.  Trump never did anything but still is being hounded and there is attempts to impeach him over things he never did.  The main charge, now, is he obstructed Justice by verbally stating, although not doing, his intent to fire the investigator investigating things he never did.   An innocent man complains about those trying to wrongly accuse him so he is guilty of offense that warrants his impeachment but the true guilty goes free of her felonious acts because others said she didn't intend to do the felonies.

Talk about not being able to dream up something.   There are differences in the way the two parties politicians are treated.  One of the parties makes their members hold the line and resign if guilty the other covers up or looks over offenses and hardly ever requires their politicians to resign or quit.  There are some exceptions and not all are treated that way but if a certain parties members don't want to go then usually they can remain in their jobs and all is forgiven.  Al Frankin was an exception and did resign but so many haven't or didn't.  I'm also sure that there will be some that take exception to this but if they do I hope they will provide examples and evidence to back up their claims.

The forum hypocrite strikes again. That took all of two minutes to disprove. Whining about Democrats while Republicans get a free pass is ridiculous.

John Conyers (D–MI)

Dean of the United States House of Representatives Congressman John Conyers of Michigan was found to have allegedly paid a settlement of $27,000 to a former member of his staff, who had accused him of sexual assault.[46] BuzzFeed reported on this settlement on November 20, 2017, based on documents from Mike Cernovich including accounts of other ethical concerns associated with Conyers's office such as sexual harassment of other female staffers.[47][48][49] Conyers responded to these reports, saying, "In our country, we strive to honor this fundamental principle that all are entitled to due process. In this case, I expressly and vehemently denied the allegations made against me, and continue to do so. My office resolved the allegations — with an express denial of liability — in order to save all involved from the rigors of protracted litigation."[50]

On November 21, 2017, the House Ethics Committee launched an investigation into multiple sexual harassment allegations against Conyers.[51] Reports of a second woman accusing Conyers of sexual harassment appeared later in November 2017. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who had initially stated that Conyers was an "icon" and had done a great deal to protect women,[52] called upon Conyers to resign, and called the allegations against him "very credible", as did House Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn.[53]

On December 5, he resigned from Congress

Trump, Kavanaugh, Barton.... all accused of sexual harassment and Republicans defended them instead of investigating. Two still serving. One didn't run for re-election.
