So people that support welfare should only use food stamps and other government provided assistance?
I'm confussed. The Republicans opted out, them Democrats passed the bill. Cadillac plans typically constist of plans with preventative care. Preventative care is guaranteed in all plans with the passage of the bill. Therefore, cadillac plans should really become a thing of the past. Not to mention the fact that this bill doesn't force anyone to buy from a government pool. If you want to keep paying for your current plan you may choose to do so. The government pool is just another option for people who don't have a company health insurance plan and have to buy private insurance WHICH IS VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE. I was paying close to $900.00 per month for me and my son. It groups people together (like those in a company) and allows them to buy at similar discounted volume rates that insurers offer to businesses for their employees. The more people you have on a policy the cheaper it is.
