I guess I don't understand,,, I paid into Social Security and Medicare for over 40 years. If the SS money had gone into a 401 it would now be worth a million dollars. 3% interest would be $30,000, where as I get $18,000 a year. So how do you think it has something to do with socialism? oh by the way Fed employee only had to pay in for 25 years to get 6 time more than me. maybe the fed and state employees are the free loaders? or I am getting ripped off by my country?
