This, I believe, will be the modus operandi of Democrats and Never Trumpers from now on out as they continue their attempted silent coup of a legitimately elected President because they cannot accept it. These people are so beside themselves with seething anger and inner hostility that they will do anything to attempt to circumvent the legal and proper election of Donald Trump. The level of derangement of many of these individuals is beyond measure and historically unprecedented for any past President.
There have always been those who decry the election of a legitimately elected President and people who protest and are angry with a President but nothing historically comes to the level of what we are seeing with President Trump. Even members of his own party and related to his own political positions are insane with hostility and anger at Trump because he, in their minds, doesn't belong or is not "good enough" to be President. Some hold the positions they do because they have been slammed and humiliated by Trump's sarcasm or ridicule in attacking them.
Regarding the whistleblower, and I believe this person will harm whistleblowers in the future because they are using that platform and position in an attempt to further tarnish the President and stir up lies and unsubstantiated accusations based more in conjecture than anything else. Who can blame Trump for striking back on Twitter or in the media after suffering three years of a Russian Collusion hoax now to see yet another attempt to diminish his accomplishments by slander and false accusations? I, too, believe that this whistleblower will be revealed to be a partisan hack who attempts to use innuendo as facts in a partisan attempt to yet again satisfy the inner rage that goes on in these demented, deranged people who cannot accept an election that their desired was soundly defeated.
