As you said, "against our legally elected president", not against the United States. Like I said before, nobody can commit treason against the President just by opposing him. The President is not the elected Monarch so nobody can commit treason against "the crown." It would be too far a stretch to say that opposing Trump is " levying war against [the United States], or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort."
